Our pieces are made with love to be loved by you. The sterling silver jewels are precious and delicate. They can fade out and tarnish over time, including solid gold. Gold-plated items are, by their nature, more fragile and susceptible to lose color over time. The speed at which this color fades will depend on various factors, such as the use of chemical products on the skin, how much the wearer sweats, or even the pH level of the individual’s skin. For this reason, it is particularly important to ensure suitable care. You can keep their shine and brightness if you follow the next steps:
- Make sure your rings fit snugly to avoid to losing them.
- Wipe your jewellery clean of sweat and oils with a soft cloth after every wear.
- Remove your jewellery before going to bed or participating in physical activities.
- We recommend to avoid wearing your jewels when bathing, showering or swimming. Although, if your jewel comes in contact with water please make sure to dry them off as soon as possible.
- Don’t expose your jewellery to household cleaning products, to chlorine in swimming pool, perfumes and other chemicals.
- Store your jewerly in a dry, cool place and separately from each other.
The good news is, unless tarnishing is caused by the jewellery coming into contact with certain chemicals, it can be simply be polished with a polishing cloth or cleaned using a dipping solution, and will be like new in no time.
